Multichrome Oil Spill Nails

Hey y'all! I came across this amazing oil spill nails post by Nail Loopy a while back using some ILNP multichrome polish and I could not get it out of my head so I decided to try and recreate the look with some of the multichromes I have.
I used Ozotic 502 and 504, as well as Girly Bits Hiss & Lear for this look. I first painted a black base and when that was completely dry, I used the dry brush method and painted the various multichromes using random strokes. These pictures were taken underwater to bring out the oil spill effect even better!

I love that this look was soooo beyond easy to recreate and the effect was just...WOW. Seriously, you guys got to try this out! :)

Alanna Renee Tranquil

Hey y'all. Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been updating my instagram more frequently but I'm finally getting down to posting here!
This is Alanna Renee Tranquil, the polish I wore for the last #PolishTogether event of 2013. The theme was turquoise and what better polish to wear than this!
I'm wearing three thin coats here with Seche Vite on top just to smoothen out the glitters. Speaking of which, can we talk about the beautiful matte glitters? The teal squares are my favourite part of Tranquil, not to mention how peaceful and serene I feel whenever I look at my nails.

Emily de Molly Hologaphics

I finally decided to take out my Emily de Molly holos to swatch yesterday and I have no idea why it took me this long.

The formula on these were great. I wore three coats in all pictures and there were no streaking, no balding, no need for any aqua base and the holo flames were strong like hell. I can't comment on how long they wear because I swatched them all at once but I would imagine they'd last much longer than the MUS or Layla holos.
Land of Confusion - a green turquoise.

Amazonia - a teal blue that is close to Land of Confusion but definitely leans more blue.

Indigo Flow - a gorgeous well, indigo blue. It's much more holo in real life.

Devotion - a slightly dusty purple.

Living After Midnight - a deep wine red / burgundy.

Ground Control - a chocolate brown that reminds me of OPI My Private Jet.

Love them all and I'm now tempted to get more! I bought my Emily de Mollys from Mei Mei's Signatures, who ships internationally.

Holographic Watercolour Nails

Hey y'all! If you've followed me on Instagram, you'd know that I managed to get some time off the other night (FINALLY!) and decided to spend some time on my nails. I've wanted to try out the watercolour nail trend for a while now but I thought, hey go holo or go home! HA!
So I started out with Color Club Harp On It. This is three thin coats.

I then proceeded to dab a little of all the Halo Hues (minus Harp On It) randomly to create the watercolour effect.

Here's a closer look! This reminds me of Wall's Paddle Pop so much. It's a really cool look!

One last picture for the road because it's just too gorgeous!

Till next time! :)

Girly Bits Hiss & Lear

Hiss & Lear is the latest multi-chrome polish from Girly Bits which shifts from lime green to deep moss, to purple & fuchsia to gold. I was so excited to cart it out and swatch it! I didn't managed to catch the fuchsia and gold bits but the lime green to cyan to purple shift was stunning enough for me!
Jaw-dropping!
This is 2 coats of Hiss & Lear over a black base.

Get your bottle for Mei Mei's Signatures before it sells out!
