Third Haul

I know this looks crazy but it's not. I assure you I did not do three hauls in one day. These were accumulated over 5 months and I'm just doing up posts to show you the colours I have! This time I purchased 7 colours, and here are some overview shots of the 7 colours.

L-R: OPI Dulche de Leche, OPI Tickle My France-y, (Ignore the middle finger cuz I painted it with my old polish. Nice french manicure though right? Haha!), Essie Not Just a Pretty Face and China Glaze Flyin' High (This was my friend's colour, not mine. I just couldn't resist swatching the pretty blue!)

Next, L-R: China Glaze Ingrid, OPI Black Onyx, China Glaze Seashell and China Glaze IV

Individual swatches and description time!

Essie Not Just a Pretty Face: This one was so sheer on the first coat and it looked pretty good with the second coat one but this is 3 coats to make it more opaque and to bring its true colour out. Not streaky at all and it was easy to paint on! It's such a pretty princess pink and it makes me feel so girlie! It would look absolutely fab with some Bring on the Bling french tips!

OPI Tickle My France-y: Please ignore the middle finger and focus on the ring finger! The colour's darker in real life and tends towards a light lilac/brown. It's a good nude and has a colour of its own. Totally not mannequin nails at all. This again is 3 coats but it was pretty good in 2! Not streaky and it applied like a dream!

OPI Dulce de Leche: It's a pinker and warmer version of Tickle My France-y. 3 coats once again and it was good in 2 coats. I did 3 only because I blotched the 2nd coat and wanted to cover it up! In fact, it looks a little too thick with 3 coats on. It applied like butter and it's a really nice neutral colour. It's not too pink, and maybe you could describe it as a really light pink mauve?

And I have to say, none of the above 3 colours look the same. They're in the same nude family but they're all different to me. I think to an untrained eye, if I wore the 3 colours consecutively as a manicure, people will not think I changed my colour but they're pretty different from each other in my eyes.

China Glaze Ingrid: This one is a pretty brown with gold shimmer in it. The shimmer isn't very obvious indoors but under the light, it's amazing! It's like a secret shimmer only for the wearer to see! 2 coats here.

Fired the flash to bring out the pretty gold shimmer!

This is a comparison with OPI You Don't Know Jacques, which is on my thumb. They're seriously not the same colour, even without the shimmer. Ingrid is warmer and browner.

Again, with the flash, which makes them look even more different! Here you can even see some traces of purple in You Don't Know Jacques!

OPI Black Onyx: A simple black creme. Nothing special, just a solid black. This will come in handy when I'm feeling a little more punk and want to rock my chunky silver rings!

China Glaze Seashell: My first application with it was HORRIBLE. It was such a streaky mess, even upon the third coat. But I removed it and reswatched it and it turned out much better. 3 coats here. Please ignore the markings on my nails, I went to bed and woke up with blanket marks. This is TOTALLY not a mannequin nail as some websites suggested. It's a solid peachy pink and I'll wear it when I feel very bubbly!

China Glaze IV: It's a really vibrant pink shade without being shocking. it's brighter in real life and this was 3 coats. I'd say it's near Orly's Pixie Stix but more towards the pink side. I think this would look great when alternated with China Glaze Flyin' High! I don't know if I'm able to rock this colour on all ten of my fingers but it'll definitely make my nails more attention grabbing than normal!

I think you can see this haul was mostly nudes and pinks and I must admit I felt very girlie when I ordered and collected the polishes! I think I got some really good basic nudes that can match anything in my closet with this haul (even though some of the colours may shout BORING). I am still thinking of getting either Bubble Bath or Malaysian Mist to sum up all my pinks!
