Alanna Renee Tranquil

Hey y'all. Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been updating my instagram more frequently but I'm finally getting down to posting here!
This is Alanna Renee Tranquil, the polish I wore for the last #PolishTogether event of 2013. The theme was turquoise and what better polish to wear than this!
I'm wearing three thin coats here with Seche Vite on top just to smoothen out the glitters. Speaking of which, can we talk about the beautiful matte glitters? The teal squares are my favourite part of Tranquil, not to mention how peaceful and serene I feel whenever I look at my nails.

Emily de Molly Hologaphics

I finally decided to take out my Emily de Molly holos to swatch yesterday and I have no idea why it took me this long.

The formula on these were great. I wore three coats in all pictures and there were no streaking, no balding, no need for any aqua base and the holo flames were strong like hell. I can't comment on how long they wear because I swatched them all at once but I would imagine they'd last much longer than the MUS or Layla holos.
Land of Confusion - a green turquoise.

Amazonia - a teal blue that is close to Land of Confusion but definitely leans more blue.

Indigo Flow - a gorgeous well, indigo blue. It's much more holo in real life.

Devotion - a slightly dusty purple.

Living After Midnight - a deep wine red / burgundy.

Ground Control - a chocolate brown that reminds me of OPI My Private Jet.

Love them all and I'm now tempted to get more! I bought my Emily de Mollys from Mei Mei's Signatures, who ships internationally.

Glam Polish BA-NA-NA!

HAPPY MID-WEEK!
I painted my nails last Saturday to cheer myself up after an entire week of crazy OT with Glam Polish BA-NA-NA! I absolutely love how happy and cherry the polish is! Actually, I think I'm falling in love with Glam Polish, with all the gorgeous blue, green and neon creations that keep popping up.

This is three thin coats BA-NA-NA!

Another (Relatively) Good Girl Haul

I got HARE Polish Star Tropics and Leap Light Year, as well as Polish Revolution Eleganza from Shoppe Ecleticco (now Rainbow Connection). I must tell you, I got the news about the HARE Polish launch during lunch and let me just say that carting out nail polish while trying to maintain a lunch conversation with your colleagues isn't as easy as you think!

I was a really good girl in August and September and I didn't buy any polish at all. This is probably my longest no buy ever. It may have been my polish mojo disappearing, coupled with work taking over my life. It all ended just last week when Mei Mei's Signatures launched the new Glam Polish Fun and Games Collections. I just had to get Twister and along the way, I added a couple of beauties into my cart and then this happened!

As you can see from the bottom row, I'm currently in a neon phase. Yes, I'm so epically late to the party but I don't think the phase will continue. I think I have enough neon babies for the mo'.

Hopefully my good girl pattern will continue on! Have a great weekend!

#SGSwatchFest: St Patrick's Day

HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY TO ALL MY READERS WHO ARE CELEBRATING THIS HOLIDAY!

According to Wikipedia, St. Patrick's Day is named after St. Patrick, one of the most commonly known patron saint of Ireland. It is a religious and cultural holiday that generally involves festivals and the wearing of green.

So without any further ado, here's my St Patty's Day mani featuring the gorgeous Gloss 'n Sparkle Goblins Grave.

I didn't want to do a typical shamrock green mani so I chose Goblins Grave, a beautiful midnight green jelly polish with teal and green holo and black hex glitters. It's definitely looks much prettier than it sounds!

I'm generally not a fan og holo hex glitters (at the moment) but the colour combi of Goblin's Grave was done so perfectly that I do love this polish very much! This wass three thin coats. The polish applied nicely and had a pretty quick drying time.

Absolute love!
