These polishes were from my second haul and I bought OPI Jade is the New Black, Ski Teal We Drop, You Don't Know Jacques, Essie Turquoise and Caicos, China Glaze For Audrey and Four Leaf Clover! And yes, you'll notice that as I proceeded with more hauls, I started to buy more polishes each time.
So first up, we have China Glaze Four Leaf Clover. Let me tell you straight up, this is not what it looks like IRL. Not at all. It's really green, unlike how it appears blue in so many of the online swatches you can find. I guess the most accurate swatch of it around is probably ALU's. Trust me, it's green. This picture was in direct sunlight.
This next one is China Glaze For Audrey. It's the loveliest blue I've ever seen. I was so sore about not being able to get Chanel Nouvelle Vague that I went on a search to find the closest thing I could get my hands on. This was it. Sadly, I have no Tiffany box to compare it with but it's really close to the gorgeous Tiffany blue. This was 2 coats.
This one's Essie Turquoise and Caicos. It's pretty similar to For Audrey but it's a tiny bit greener. It's from Essie's Resort Collection and I do think it reminds me of some tropical clear waters! It's very dreamy and intense! Application for this one was very disappointing and it took 4 coats to be nice, opaque and not so streaky! The colour is so amazing but really, the hassle of painting it on one nail has really made me think twice every time I pick this bottle up! To date, I've not used this polish for a complete mani / pedi yet because I'm very afraid of it's application.
Here, we have OPI Ski Teal We Drop (STWD) and Jade is the New Black (JITNB) alternated on my fingers. STWD is the blue one and JITNB is the green one. I loved loved loved this mani I gave myself with these 2 colours and I got a couple of compliments when I wore it to school! They both applied pretty well and I think they were 2 coats each.
Here is OPI You Don't Know Jacques (YDKJ) on my toes, with my STWD and JITNB mani together with it! I absolutely love YDKJ. It's the perfect taupe and I swear, if OPI announces that it will be discontinued, I'm going to buy myself a new bottle (even though mine has only been used three times) and hoard it.
Close up of the three beautiful colours. I was so happy when I had these colours on my nails that particular week! I know it sounds so narcissistic but I couldn't stop looking at my nails that entire week!
Hope you guys like the pictures! (:
