It's the Diamond Jubilee Weekend and I wanted to do some nail art to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's 60 year reign! My Grandma, who stays in the UK, called me earlier on and was telling me how festive the celebrations were and how everyone was having so much fun!
Queen Elizabeth II was crowned Monarch on 2nd June 1953, and this year marks her 60th year as the Queen! I'm 2 days late with this nail art but I've read that celebrations are in procession, right till Tuesday so hey, I'm joining in the fun!
I did a simple polka dot design on my index finger, staying true to the colours of the Union Jack, and on my middle finger, I tried my best to draw a diamond (in case you can't make that out) to signify the Diamond Jubilee and of course, added a "60" on top of the diamond. On my ring finger is the Union Jack and lastly, I stamped on an image of a crown using my BM plates and China Glaze 2030.
I had quite a lot of fun doing this last minute mani and I hope all you UK readers are having a fantastic weekend!
