China Glaze Hologlam Collection Swatches (Spring 2013)

HEY GUYS! AS YOU CAN TELL, I AM FREAKING EXCITED TO SHOW YOU GUYS THE CHINA GLAZE HOLOGLAM 2013 SWATCHES! The courier guy came this afternoon and I was bouncing off the walls excited to swatch my new twelve babies!

For my swatches, I've broken them down into three groups of four. The first two pictures from each group were taken in the sunlight and the next two were taken under my table lamp. Surprisingly, my table lamp works magic and manages to produce super holo shots! Do take note that the shot taken under my table lamp are more colour accurate than the ones that were taken under sunlight.

Application wise, these twelve applied easily. They were all opaque in two coats. They did do this funny thing where they look extra streaky (like how chrome polishes look) right before they dry but they always dry perfect so if you see the streaks, don't panic! These twelve are also thicker than the original OMGs but they're not any harder to apply. They also dry pretty quickly albeit a tiny bit slower than most super linear holographic polishes.

Well, enough with the words. Here are the pictures!

And now, the moment we've all been waiting for - COMPARISONS WITH THE OMGS! The Holograms are less holographic than the OMGs but they still pack a punch.

From left to right: Not In This Galaxy, TMI, Take A Trek and 2NITE (Table Lamp)

Well, I think TMI isn't exactly the most holo of the OMGs so the coral comparisons aren't exactly the fairest. But you can see that 2NITE is much more holo than Take A Trek.

From left to right: Not In This Galaxy, TTYL, Take A Trek and 2NITE (Table Lamp)

TTYL is more holo so this one is a pretty good comparison. Magnitude of holo-ness aside, I think the holo effect is pretty much the same. The Hologlams have the same, smooth linear holo look as the OMGs and honestly, the colours are pretty different from them too so this is a pretty good collection to own!

These Hologlams also cost less than the Color Club Halo Hues, Layla Holograms, Nfu Oh holos, Jade Holograficos, FNUGs and Glitter Gals. I paid SGD95 for the entire collection so this is actually the cheapest holo collection available! Even more reason to own the collection!

I bought my set from Timtam but it seems it's sold out now. I've been browsing around and Tammy offers the best price. The set is selling form SGD100 but if you're a repeat customer, you'll be able to set it at SGD95! Hopefully it'll be restocked soon so you all can grab yours soon!
